Bob Cunningham was reported to have had over 150 bouts from 1885 to 1896. After his ring career he turned to the stage, where he became an accomplished acrobat. In 1899 he was a member of the cast of "Breach of Promise," a comedy farce troupe that toured the country. In later years he served as a timekeeper and judge at prize-fights.
