"Heavyweight Bob Pastor, 185, of New York got off his bicycle last night to thump out his third successive victory over Buddy Scott, 179, of Tampa, Fla., in the 10-round main event of an indoor fight card at Olympia Stadium. Referee Elmer McLelland and the two judges voted unanimously for Pastor, who tried earnestly to damage Scott's claim of never having hit the deck in 94 pro starts, but the New Yorker didn't have the dynamite. The slim crowd booed the slow start, but Pastor gave them a good finish by battering Scott all over the ring in the 10th." -Associated Press
