- Date: 1937-11-26
- Location: Madison Square Garden, New York, New York, USA

- Judge: George LeCron
"Bob Pastor's championship aspirations went right out the window tonight when Nathan Mann, New Haven heavyweight, gave him a fancy trimming before 6,600 customers at MSG. Mann dropped Pastor to one knee with a chopping right in the middle of the first round. There were no more knockdowns and little visible damage outside of a cut that appeared over the winner's right eye in the 7th round. Mann was at no time in difficulty. Pastor, on the other hand, looked like he might fold a time or two after Mann had planted thunderous belts in his stomach. The defeat knocked Pastor loose from the world's No. 4 ranking which he had held and plunked Mann right into the middle of the heavyweight picture. Even Jimmie Johnston, Pastor's voluble pilot, had no argument with the decision." -Associated Press
- Unofficial AP scorecard - 6-1-3 Mann
- Pastor was penalized 2 rounds for low blows
- The winner of this bout was promised a bout with Tommy Farr in Madison Square Garden in late December, but the bout never materialized. Farr, instead, fought Jimmy Braddock in January and Mann fought Joe Louis for the title in February, with both fights taking place in the Garden.
