Chacon, a former featherweight champion, flattened Leal in the 3rd round with a right and twice in the 5th, both times with quick combinations. The end came at 1:54 of the 7th when referee Lou Filippo stopped the fight while Leal rested on his seat on the canvas." -United Press International
