Buzz Brown was one of the more talented "scientific boxers" of the 1940's in Minnesota. In both of his fights with tough guy Howard Bleyhl, he was well up on points until getting stopped. He had a jab that was masterful in defense, and a formidable offensive weapon that he used to "stick" his opponents with. He later became a top-notch photographer, before dying in a sudden car crash in St. Paul which took his life in 1956.
