Carlos Teo Cruz 137 lbs beat Bunny Grant 135 lbs by UD in round 10 of 10

"In the best exhibition of this triple-header, Carlos (Teo) Cruz of Santo Domingo, came through with surprising success when he scored a very close but unanimous verdict over the more experienced Bunny Grant, the Jamaican and British Empire lightweight titleholder. Although Cruz carried the fight to Grant, the Jamaican displayed a little more savoir faire and had more authority behind his punches. However, Bunny's offensive was never too constant against his ever-pressing foe. Both contestants were given a thunderous ovation during the middle of round four when they went at each other without a backward step, with Cruz having the better of it." -Ring Magazine, August 1966 issue

  • Unofficial Ring Magazine scorecard - 98-96 Cruz
