Norwegian middelweight Roy Askvold (75 kg ) won his second pro bout by outpointing Belgian veteran Carlos Van Neste (24-5-1 ), also 75 kg, over six rounds. The Belgian looked out of shape with surplus kilos around his waist. For many rounds Van Neste was content with being chased by Askvolds left jab and occasional right cross. The most dramatic moment occured in the 5th round when Askvold managed to corner Van Neste, but without landing a finishing punch.
