In the opening bout on the Vitali Klitschko vs. Chris Arreola heavyweight championship undercard, heavyweight Cedric Boswell scored a unanimous decision over veteran Cisse Salif. Boswell, age 40, Atlanta, Georgia, 31-1 with 24 KOs, weighed in at 223 to Salif's 269, and went to work immediately with fast and consistent combinations on his slower overweight opponent, boxing on the outside and appeared to win all eight rounds on points comfortably. Salif, a Mali fighter out of Las Vegas, Nevada, Arreola's sparring partner, fell to 23-16, 21 KOs.
