Chango Carmona 135 lbs drew with Genaro Soto 136 lbs by SD in round 10 of 10

"Chango Carmona, the world's ninth ranking lightweight had to battle from behind and settle for a draw with Puerto Rico's Genaro Soto in the main event at the Municipal Auditorium. The underdog Soto forced the action from the start, but took the worst of the slugging match as Carmona bloodied Soto's face, banged him on the mouth to open a cut on the inside and gradually closed Soto's left eye. Unfortunately, Soto did not have the power to go with his aggressiveness but he did chop Carmona's face into a brilliant red. The final round had the fans stomping and screaming as the two 135 pounders slugged it out toe-to-toe. And no matter whose side you might have been on, you had to agree that neither fighter deserved to lose." San Antonio Light
