Darren Corbett 189 lbs beat Chris Okoh 189 lbs by TKO at 1:23 in round 3 of 12
- Date: 1997-06-02
- Location: Ulster Hall, Belfast, Northern Ireland, United Kingdom
- Referee: Mickey Vann
- Commonwealth (British Empire) Cruiserweight Title (4th defense of Okoh)
- Aired on: Sky Sports 1
Notes
- Okoh down twice in round 2. The first time from an overhand right and the second time from a straight right to the jaw.
- The second knockdown came as the bell sounded. The referee stepped in to give Okoh a count (since the bell can only save a fighter in the last round), but a large part of the crowd thought the referee was calling the fight over. The officials were able to clear the ring in time to resume the third round.
- Okoh down again in round 3 from a left hook to the head. Although Okoh beat the count, the referee did not believe he should continue and waved the fight over.
