"Cleveland Williams of Houston, Texas, hammered out a unanimous 10 round decision over Frankie Daniels of San Diego, Calif., last night at the Miami Beach Auditorium and left Daniels swollen and bleeding. For the first three rounds it looked like Williams would have little trouble scoring his 7th straight knockout. But Daniels refused to go down under the pounding, and in the 4th came back to shake Williams. But by the 7th round, Daniels' left eye was closed, and at the end of the bout his right eye was bleeding, and so was his mouth." -United Press
