  • Dan Walton was a sportswriter for the Tacoma News Tribune (Tacoma, WA, USA) from at least the mid-1920s to well into the 1950s. From at least the late 1940s, he was the paper's Sports Editor.
  • 1968 Inductee into the Tacoma-Pierce County Sports Hall of Fame.
