Danny Kramer, Jewish, was another of the top-flight fighters to come out of Philadelphia during his era. He bore an uncanny resemblance to Lew Tendler. Won the Pacifica Coast Featherweight Championship in 1923 after a grueling tournament. Winning the title by defeating Bud Ridley in January of 1923 had to be a career highlight besides fighting the great Louis “Kid” Kaplan for the World Featherweight Title in 1926. Ranked by boxing historian Chuck Hasson as one of the greatest Featherweight fighters in Philadelphia history on Phillyboxinghistory.com
