"At the Olympic Auditorium, the 20-year old Danny Lopez needed but 2:24 of the 1st round to put away Jorge Carrasco of Mexicali, Mexico. The first blow of the brief fight was a smashing right hand to the chin of Lopez. Danny shook off the effects, then went after Carrasco.
