- New York Times August 6, 1922 - "Dave Rosenberg, Brooklyn's crack middleweight boxer, who will box Phil Krug for Johnny Wilson's title, which has been declared vacated by the State Athletic Commission, has left with his manager Joe Schwinger for Greenwood Lake, where he will train for the meeting with Krug. Rosenberg will be assisted in his training by Danny Ross, welterweight, Sammy Mossberg, lightweight, and two middleweight boxers who will be requisitioned into service this week. Tommy Draak, wrestler, will also assist in the conditioning work of Rosenberg."
