Mike Miller, a heavyweight with a losing record, scored an upset stoppage over previously unbeaten David Long in a heavyweight bout on the undercard to Lamon Brewster-Danny Batchelder. Miller landed a right hand to the jaw that dropped Long for an eight count late in the first round. Long beat the count, but the referee waived off the contest at 2:31.
