Deontay Wilder of Tuscaloosa, Alabama, remained unbeaten with a first-round knockout win over Shannon Caudle of Fayetteville, Arkansas, in their scheduled six-round bout.
Wilder began the fight working behind a rangy jab, before landing a looping right hand that sent Caudle down to all fours against the ropes. Caudle, who was undefeated coming into the bout, remained on his knees as referee Randy Phillips reached the count of ten.
