"Nigeria's Dick Tiger, British Empire middleweight champion, turned the tables on Randy Sandy of New York Tuesday night and won a decision over him in their return 10-round bout at Wembley Arena. Before a crowd of 8,600, Tiger outpointed the American who had won a widely disputed decision over him in Liverpool on March 19th. The referee's verdict was unpopular because Sandy's clowning tactics had pleased the crowd. However, Tiger, 161 3/4, had forced the action in every round and he staggered Sandy, 156 1/2, with solid hooks to the head in the 3rd, 5th and 7th rounds." -United Press International
