Dode Bercot drew with Billy Alger by PTS in round 6 of 6
- Date: 1926-08-13
- Location: Sievers Ball Park, Everett, Washington, USA
- Referee: Jack Richmond
It was a good 'hometown' decision. Dode put up a great fight but was outclassed by the Californian. Alger won three rounds easily. Dode had one and two were even.... [Alger's] six rounds with Bercot were apparently nothing but a good workout for him. Dode was boxing his 'coming out' bout after a long layoff, due to ill health. His comeback was a success. He is game and threw plenty of gloves. He was just beaten by a better boy." Everett Daily Herald
