Dode Bercot lost to Don Fraser by DQ in round 2 of 6
- Date: 1928-01-12
- Location: Greenwich Coliseum, Tacoma, Washington, USA
- Referee: Harold Bird
"It was my first foul in 150 fights," said Bercot. "Fraser leaped in at me. I saw his body. I shot my right and the blow went low. I regret it, but I suppose those things have to occur. If they didn't they wouldn't." Fraser went to the floor, writhing in agony. Referee Harold Bird, calling the foul unintentional, would have allowed the bout to continue, but Fraser refused.
