Dode Bercot beat Harry Anderson by KO in round 7 of 8
- Date: 1923-03-22
- Location: Eagles Hall, Everett, Washington, USA
"From the opening gong Bercot peppered the Canadian boxer hard and often. Anderson was game. He still had the head of the Anderson who six years ago was fighting a world's champion. The legs and the arms, however, were not those of the old Harry. Anderson weathered six rounds and a half of the roughest going traveled by a boxer in an Everett ring. About the time the seventh round had reached the halfway mark, Anderson caught one flush to the jaw and went down for the count. Bercot had advanced one step father along the path to pugilistic stardom." Everett Daily Herald
