Don Fullmer, brother of former World Champion Gene Fullmer, and Jay Fullmer, was rated in the Top Ten as a middleweight and as a light heavyweight. He won the the first "world junior light heavyweight" title bout in 1967, but never defended that title.
He appeared in the 1968 movie The Devil's Brigade, which starred William Holden and Cliff Robertson. Also appearing in the movie were Don's brother Gene, former heavyweight contender Rex Layne, heavyweight boxer Wilhelm Von Homburg, and football great Paul Hornung. (It was directed by Victor McLaglen's son, Andrew McLaglen.)
