Paduano (right) lands a right against Rodriguez

Luis Rodriguez 163 lbs lost to Donato Paduano 155 lbs by SD in round 10 of 10

“Rodriguez probably won the first one but that was it. By the fifth round Paduano was wading in and Rodriguez was doing his best to keep him at arms-length with left jabs. From that point on, Paduano found it easier setting up his right cross with jabs, and started to connect against the ex-champ. Rodriguez would try the odd lunging flurry, but most of the time he appeared off balance and usually it turned out to be a clumsy piece of work. By the end of the fight, Paduano was connecting almost at will with left-right combinations and Rodriguez trying for a knock-out punch, continuously left himself open. Many of his best punches were blocked.”
