The tall, angular New Yorker won a unanimous decision in ten gruelling, bloody rounds over light heavyweight contender Von Clay of Philadelphia at St. Nicholas Arena. But two cuts around his left eye cost the 23 year old Jones a promised television fight with veteran Willie Pastrano at Miami Beach, April 22.
