  • "Dwight Hawkins came up with an impressive victory on the latest Monarch Boxing Club show at Valley Music Theatre. Hawkins, ranked 5th in the world in his division, unleashed a savage body attack to knock out Raul Carreon in 2:04 of the 5th round. The bout was scheduled for 10. Hawkins needed only a round to redden Carreon's ribs, then kept punishing the Phoenix, Ariz., boxer until it was over, winning every round in the process. Noted as a body puncher, Hawkins' attack was so severe that Carreon dropped without even being hit in the 4th and 5th rounds from a buildup of earlier punches." -Van Nuys Valley News
