"Earl Walls, 194 3/4, of Toronto and Edmonton uncorked a vicious two-handed attack Monday night to knock out Tommy Harrison, 183 1/4, of Los Angeles at 2:36 of the 1st round of a scheduled 10-rounder. Walls, beaten decisively by Harrison in a January 27th bout here, stunned the crowd with his 1st round knockout. He sent the American to the canvas early with a left hook, caught him with a right to the jaw that stunned Harrison and rained a barrage of lefts and rights until the lighter Harrison slumped to the canvas to be counted out by referee Jackie Silver." -Canadian Press
