Pugilist Commits Suicide
Wilmington, Del., July 13.--Edward McConnell, a retired lightweight pugilist, while suffering from delirium tremens today, tried to commit suicide by jumping into the Christiana river, but he was dragged out. An hour later McConnell was again seized with suicidal mania and cut his throat with a razor, dying a few minutes later.
