Elusive Eddie Perkins from Chicago, won himself a fight at the Olympic Auditorium last night outboxing Mexico's Hilario Morales most of the way to score a unanimous decision over 10 rounds. But the crowd of 3,000 got on the winner midway in the fray and continued the booing thereafter. All the time however, Eddie was sticking his jab in Morales' face and skipping away, then moving inside to score with crisp hooks while keeping Morales off balance. Overlooked by the partisan crowd was Hilario's tactics of bulling his foe with a shoulder, twisting him around while belting with the other hand and assorted attempts to butt.
