Eddie Roberts was a brother of Reamer Roberts. Roberts whose real name was Eugene Swope, was convicted of two counts of manslaughter in a hit and run accident on October 5, 1940. Swope was the owner and operator of Parkway Cleaners in Indianapolis, and moved to Tucson, Arizona upon his retirement.
