Jofre used his left jab to perfection to control the fight. In the 2nd Jofre connected with a crushing left to the liver, which made Stevens kneel without going down. Jofre, now dangerously cold hunted the Chilean but the round ended. Jofre went right after Stevens in the 3rd and got home some good body shots. Stevens tried to fight back but found Jofre an elusive target. In the middle of the round Jofre caught Stevens with a tremendous right hook, which floored Stevens for an eight count. Stevens was floored again, this time by a left hook. In the 4th Jofre went for the kill and floored Stevens with a combination for the full count.
