Edgar Normann (also spelled "Norman") was the European Amateur Champion at middleweight in Berlin 1927. He was among the handful of Norwegian boxers who came to the United States in the late 1920s and had some success, along with Pete Sanstol (future bantamweight world champion), Otto von Porat and Haakon Hansen. Coincidentally, Normann's last bout was on the same program as Sanstol's last bout, 13 Sept. 1935, versus Panama Al Brown (not counting Sanstol's charity bouts during World War II).
