Elvis Mihailenko is the first Latvian National champion amongst professionals and the first ever Latvian to held any of the major titles, included; WBA Intercontinental and EBU-EU (European Union) at light heavyweight division. He boxed out of the Peacock Gym, Canningtown, in East-end of London.
Elvis was named by his father in honour of Elvis Presley. He had 57-14 amateur record and won 1997 Latvian Nationals at light heavyweight, was a member of the national team, and participated on the many multi-nations.
