Current WBC International 135 Lbs champion Enrique Colin Reyes (now 28-4-3, 23 K0s Mexico) was supposed to defend his belt on 14th March 2009 against Carlos Urias (39-19-0, 28 K0s Mexico) but the latter eventually pulled out and was replaced by unranked Jaime Maldonado. The Committee did not consider Maldonado worthy to fight for the Championship and the fight turned out to be a non-title bout.
