    • EBU's 4th ranked lightweight Erik Nikkinen of Finland was shocked by the erratic Norwegian Kristian Hoydahl. A terrific right sent Nikkinen down after only 50 seconds. He crawled around the floor with a bleeding nose and was counted out.

    This was Hoydahls debut as lightweight after boxing in light welter and trying for the welter divison in his previous fight against Dane Joergen Hansen.
