Biography
From April to November of 1914 Waddy travelled the world as a tourist. When he returned home he opened a cafe and a gym in Adelaide and ran them with family members. Working in the gym, where he taught boxing, kept him in such good nick that he was able to stage a comeback after almost five years, eventually defending his title in 1919 against Albert Kid Lloyd.
