Finnish middleweight Leo Petrell ( 25 ) had a fine pro debut when he outpointed the German Eugen Musenbock over 4 round.
Petrell ( 71,5 kg ) punched confidently at the 2 kilos heavier German who had a 1-9-0 record. The German often went into a croach, often called " porcupine- position " in Scandinavia. Hooks from Petrell opened up the German in the 4th and Musenbock had to take a standing count. Later in the round he went down from a right, but stayed the distance.
