"Youth and speed gave Eugene "Cyclone" Hart, 20, Pliladelphia, a unanimous decision over veteran Don Fullmer in a 10 round middleweight bout here Tuesday night. Fullmer was in trouble in the 3rd and 7th rounds when Hart connected with a series of hard lefts and rights to the head. But Fullmer, 32, West Jordan, Utah, bounced back in the 8th round setting Hart back on his heels with good counter-punching. In the last round, the fighters went toe-to-toe in the center of the ring, slugging it out until the final bell with Hart seeming to tire. In the scoring one judge and the referee gave Hart a 47-44 edge, while the other judge marked a 47-43 victory for Hart." -United Press International
