- Eugene won six consecutive Houston-area Gold Gloves Championships. In 2002 Hill won his division at the Ringside World Championships. Then in 2006, he won championships at the National Black Gloves and the Blue and Gold Tournaments. His ring success earned him national rankings in the super heavyweight division of #5 in 2005 and #3 in 2006. [1]
