Munsell won the first four rounds by a large margin, before easing up after he hurt his left hand in the 5th round. Hunt would take the 6th and 7th rounds, before Munsell returned to the attack in the last three rounds. Munsell hurt Hunt and nearly stopped him in the 10th round.
