Dixon won a slow first round. In the 2nd round, Morris started fast and staggered Dixon with a left hook. Dixon turned the tables and hit Morris with left hooks and right crosses as they were near the ropes. After the two broke towards the center of the ring, Dixon caught Morris with a right to the chin. Morris bounced around a few times, and fell over on his back with a loud bang and was counted out.
