Tubbs destroys Middleton!

Heavyweight Nate Tubbs (18-4) returned from a four year layoff, to vanquish Mike Middleton (11-16-1) in less than a round Saturday night at the Grand Victoria Casino, Rising Sun, Indiana. Tubbs put Middleton on the ground three times before the slaughter was stopped. In other action, U.S. Olympian heavyweight Devin Vargas (5-0) outpointed Dione Craig (2-3) by scores of 40-36, 39-37, 39-38. Dione Craig's brother, 2000 U.S. Olympian Dante Craig (12-4) handed Reggie Strickland his 276th career loss, shutting out Strickland (66-276-17 -- not a misprint) 60-54 on all cards in a middleweight clash. A fight featuring cruiserweight contender Ravea Springs (27-3, 21 KOs) fell through.
