Danny Nardico, 175, Tampa, made short work of buck (Baldy) Garriett, 190, the ring pride of Griffin, Ga., scoring seven knockdowns before Referee Raymond called it off in the second round. Garriette, who had given Hal Boylston a rough battle two weeks ago, was no match for Nardico, who leveled his attack at the Georgian’s ample midsection, and was in almost complete command after the first flurry of punches that opened the battle.
