Max Alexander dropped Tiwon Taylor twice round three to score a TKO at 2:04 of the round. The first knockdown came when the southpaw Alexander landed a right on the jaw of Taylor followed by a left hook to the stomach that dropped him to the canvas. Taylor rose to his feet but Alexander jumped right on him with a five punch combination to the body and an uppercut that sent Taylor to the canvas for the final time. Referee Sean Clark had seen enough and stopped the bout.
