Rovira knocked Bashara down in the first round with a right to the head, for a nine-count. Bashara elected to engage Rovira, a known brawler, at his own game after the knockdown. Bashara was able to hang with Rovira through the 5th round, but wore down after that as Rovira dominated after that.
