- After a tentative beginning between both fighters, Herrera was hurt in round 5 by a left hook. A follow up barrage of punches from Bunteng had Herrera slumping in the corner. As a result, the referee picked up a count on Herrera. Herrera walked away when the referee asked him to come forward and the fight was stopped. Herrera put up a mild protest to the stoppage.
