Duca was floored in the final round. The judges were split, one voted for Soose, the other for a draw. The Athletic Commissioner held that when two judges disagree then the referee's vote is final. Houck, Soose's former amateur coach at Penn State, called it for Duca because Soose "clowned all through the early part of the fight."
