The sharpshooting Bratton, 147, floored his string bean opponent three times before Referee Johnny Behr called a halt. Dykes scaled 150. After toying with Dykes with a light flurry of punches, Bratton suddenly lashed out with a terrific right to the jaw-the first he threw. Dykes crashed to the floor for a count of eight. Another right sent Dykes spinning to the canvas for another eight count. When Dykes wobbled to his feet, another right to the chin flattened him the third time. Referee Behr didn't even wait to finish the count.
