Jack 'Kid' Berg 145 lbs lost to Mike Piskin 143 lbs by PTS in round 10 of 10
- Date: 1939-06-30
- Location: Atlantic Stadium, Long Branch, New Jersey, USA
- Referee: Paul Cavalier 2-5
Piskin won the decision on his cleaner punching and cleaner fighting. The decision was unpopular amongst many fans, any Berg's cornerman Ray Arcel who stated that it was the "rottenest I have ever seen." The bout was fought in a ring soaked by rainfall, with Berg going down four times and Piskin twice from the wet canvas. Berg bulled Piskin around the ring and butted and mauled in the clinches, while hitting on the break.
