Morgan controlled the fight in the first three rounds with his left jab, and solid lefts to the body. Jordan began to land hooks in the 5th round, but Morgan responded before the round was over with hooks of his own. In the 6th round, Jordan landed a left hook to the head and a right to the body that sent Morgan down for an eight-count. Morgan came back to win the 7th with his left hand. In the 8th and 9th rounds, Jordan went on the attack with a body attack. Morgan regained control in the 10th round, landing lefts to the head, as well as light rights to the head.
