Alvarado knocked Lynch down twice in the 2nd round. Lynch came back though to knock Alvarado down with a left hook to the solar plexus and a right hand to the jaw. The bell rang with the count at one. Attempts to get Alvarado for the 6th round, were unsuccessful, and his corner threw in the towel.
